It is best to buy more credit, as then you get even lower rates to selected countries (e.g. Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Egypt, Philippines and China). Tpad credit NEVER expires, so many customers purchase $30 or more and use over many months, to get lower rates. Rates to all other countries will remain at the standard cheap Tpad rates as shown below.
The rate is set at the time of purchase depending on the purchase amount and will remain in force until the next time you purchase credit. Your rate will change immediately to the new rate, the next time you purchase, even if you have some unused credit left from your original purchase, which will also be at the new rate. For example, if you purchase $10 and do not use the credit and then later purchase $50, then the whole $60 will be at the lower $50 rate. If you do in the reverse order, and purchase $10 later, then the whole amount will beat the higher $10 rate. Thus you can save money by always purchasing in higher amounts. Tpad credit does NOT expire and most customers purchase $30, $50 or $100 to get the best rates.

Tpad's standard rates are amongst the lowest cost in the Industry. The calling charges are only a fraction of the cost of normal international calls and are also lower than other competitors. The total call cost is based on your per minute rate and a connection fee of only 7 cents, no matter how long the call. All calls are rounded up to the next minute. Thus if you make a call for 9 minutes 50 seconds, which is at a rate of 6 cents per minute, you will be charged for 10 minutes and your total cost will be 67 cents including the 7 cents connection fee. Tpad does NOT charge any daily maintenance fees and there are no hidden costs. Unlike other companies Tpad only uses pure direct routes with good call quality and Tpad credit NEVER expires.
