Setting up the Tpad softphone

1. First make sure you have a Free Tpad Account then download the Free Tpad Softphone for your PC.
2. Once downloaded, double click the .exe file and follow the instructions below:

If you have entered the details correctly then the phone will display your unique 7 digit Tpad Number and will also say "Registered - Enter your Phone Number".

How to make Low Cost Local and International Calls with the Tpad Softphone:

Make sure you dial any telephone number is this format only:

00 + Country Code + Area Code + Contact Number then press the Green Call button

How to make Free Calls anywhere in the World with the Tpad Softphone:

Simply dial the 7 digit Tpad Number of your friend anywhere in the World.

Tpad SIP Details:

• SIP Number = your 7 digit Tpad Number (e.g. 1126789)
• Username = your 7 digit Tpad Number
• Registrar = sip.tpad.com
• Password = your Tpad Password
• Auth. ID = your 7 digit Tpad Number
• Domain / Proxy Server = sip.tpad.com
• Outbound Proxy = sip.tpad.com
• STUN Server (if audio / connection problems) = stun.tpad.com:3478 or stun.fwdnet.net:3478
• SIP Ports = 5060 or 8891 or 8791 or 80 (if VoIP is blocked in your Area)
• Codecs = G.711 (64kbps) G729 (8kbps)

Amending Stun Settings for Audio Problems

Ninja Lite is already set-up with correct Tpad settings and Stun settings disabled. It will load and ask for your Tpad Number/Password and should work correctly. If, however, you are having audio problems, you can try with the Stun settings enabled to see if this helps. To do this right click on the phone and go to Settings and then Network Settings and tick the Stun Setting and save. Most users will not need to do this.

Making a Test Call

Type 121 on the Softphone to make a test call to our service centre, to check that everything is working.
