Internet users become Tpad members by creating an account on the Tpad website to obtain a free 7 digit Tpad number. They can also download the free Tpad softphone although this is not essential to use the Tpad network.
The most popular Tpad device is the free Tpad softphone running on the PC with a headset/microphone. Tpad is compatible with all 'SIP' based devices and phones such as IP Phones, ATA Adaptors and SIP capable mobile phones.
All calls between Tpad users are free as these are routed over the Internet. Tpad Members can also make calls to normal phones and mobiles at very low rates as the international portion of the call is over the Internet and they pay just for the local portion of the call.
