Ways To Make Tpad Calls

With Tpad you can make cheap calls to landlines and mobiles and you can make 100% free calls to other Tpad users using their Free Tpad Number. You can also make calls from normal phones to another Tpad number or another normal phone (Phone to Phone).

1. Cheap calls to landlines and mobiles by using Tpad Softphone

You need to have tpad credit on your account to make calls to normal phones and mobiles. You can buy credit on the Manage Account page. The calls are low cost because Tpad uses the Internet for the International portion of the call. How to do:

	Create Free Tpad VoIP Account if not already done so.
	Purchase Tpad Call Credit if not already purchased - Use Manage Account page
	Download Free Tpad Softphone if not already done - or use any VoIP Device (ATA / IP Phone / WiFi Mobile)
	Launch and Login to Softphone with your personal 7 digit Tpad number and Tpad Password
	Dial the landline or mobile phone number (using the full international format), you have to this format no matter where in the world you are ringing from: Dial 00 + Country Code of destination + Area Code + Contact number E.g. a call to India Country code = 0091 Area code = 98 Number = 123456 DIAL 009198123456 and press green call button on Softphone If you are unsure of the country code or area code then use the Tpad VoIP Call Rates Table to find out. Use the format mentioned above if you are using a VoIP Device to make a call (ATA / IP Phone / WiFi Mobile / Softphone - Xlite / Express Talk / SJPhone)

2. Free calls to other Tpad users by using Tpad Softphone or any VoIP / SIP Device

You can make 100% free calls to other Tpad users using the Tpad Softphone. You do not need to purchase credit.

	Create Account and Download Softphone (if not already done so)
	Launch and Login to Softphone with Tpad number and Password
	Dial the 7 digit Tpad number of your contact and press green button
	Your contact should be logged on or have set call forwarding with valid credit for you to connect to them.

3. Calls to other Tpad users by using Normal Phone or Mobile (Phone to PC)

You can dial a number on normal phones (called the Country Tpad Break-In Number) that allows you to link to the Tpad network. The number is different for each country and is at local rate (sometime freephone). After entering this number you select option 1 then enter the 7 digit Tpad number of your contact who may be anywhere in the world. You just pay for a local call. You do not need to be a Tpad user or have a Tpad account or Tpad credit yourself to use this feature. See 'Receive Calls' for more details.

	E.g. in UK Dial the local country Tpad UK DID number 01616606863 (other Country Numbers are shown on 'DID Numbers' page)
	Wait for the message and select Option 1, then enter the 7 digit Tpad Number you want to reach.
	Your call will be connected to your contact. You may not connect if they are not logged in or if they have set their call forwarding but have no credit.

4. Calls from Normal phones to Normal Phone (Phone to Phone)

	Dial the Tpad Break-In Number for the country YOU are in from a normal landline / mobile. (local rate call)
	Wait for the message and select Option 2.
	Enter the 10 digit PIN Number of your Tpad Account (found in your Manage Account Page)
	Then you have to enter the full international number you wish to call in the correct Tpad Format Dial 00 + Country Code of destination + Area Code + Contact number + # key E.g. a call to India Country code = 0091 Area code = 98 Number = 123456 DIAL 009198123456 followed by the # key (Hash / Pound Key -located below the 9 key on keypad) Full example of a Tpad Phone to Phone Call using the Tpad Break-In Numbers: (UK to India Call) E.g. in UK Dial the local Tpad number using 01616606863 landline / mobile Wait for the message and select Option 2 Wait for the next message and enter your 10 digit calling pin card number (this is shown in your account details on the Manage Account page). After this you will be told to enter the full international telephone number you want to dial.

E.g. in UK
First dial country break-In Number	e.g. 01616606863
Press 2 on your keypad	e.g. 2
Then, after message dial your calling card pin e.g.	e.g. 1234567890
Then the full international number you want to call	e.g. 0092456123456
Followed by the # (hash / pound) key.	#

This is like making a call with a calling card, only cheaper, and it allows you to use your Tpad credit.

Costs

	Ringing a Break IN Number (your telephone provider will charge you the cost to ring that area using your current phone tariff)
	Then when you ring the destination number you pay the low cost Tpad Call Rate to the country you are ringing - see Tpad Call Rates.
