Receive Calls On Tpad

You can receive calls on your Tpad number from anyone in the world. You can receive calls in two ways:-

  1. You can receive calls from another Tpad user simply dialing your Tpad number
  2. You can receive calls from non Tpad users who use normal phones or mobiles using a DID access number (country break-in number). These are only available in certain countries. In order to receive the call your Tpad account must be in credit, having purchased at least $10 credit in the preceding 30 days.

It costs you nothing to receive these calls, and you can receive on any Tpad VoIP Device (Softphone / ATA / IP Phone / WiFi Mobile).

You can also forward the call, using the ‘Manage Account’ menu, to your personal landline or mobile telephone number (e.g. when you are not at your desk or out of the office). The call forwarding will use your credit and will thus only work if your account is in credit.

Receive Calls from Tpad Users

If your friends have broadband, then ask them to join Tpad, for free, using the Create Account page and download the Free Tpad VoIP Softphone. Then you can give them your personal Tpad number and they will be able to call you free from anywhere in the World. They simply type in your Tpad number on the softphone to make the call. In order to receive the call your Tpad account must be in credit, having purchased at least $10 credit in the preceding 30 days.

  1. Take the call on your Tpad device or softphone
  2. Forward the call using your Manage Account options to your landline or mobile phone

Receive Calls from Non-Tpad Users (via DID/ Break-In Number)

If your friends don't have a PC or Broadband, then we have a service that will allow them to ring you personal Tpad Number you using their landline or mobile phone for just the price of a local call and not an expensive international call. This service is only available in certain countries (see DID or Break-In Numbers section). In order to receive the call your Tpad account must be in credit, having purchased at least $10 credit in the preceding 30 days.

  5. They do not need to be a Tpad user or have a Tpad account or Tpad credit to use this feature.
